Soft tissue surgery
Soft tissue surgery refers to surgery on the body's soft tissues, such as the skin, tendons, and ligaments to name a few.

Tendon surgery
Surgery to tendons may involve tenoplasty (repair of a tendon), tenotomy (division of a tendon), or tenectomy (resection of a tendon).
Osteotomy
An osteotomy refers to the surgical cutting of a bone.
Arthroplasty/Arthrotomy
An arthrotomy refers to an incision into a joint, for inspection and surgical attention, for example removal of inflamed tissue. Arthroplasty refers to removal of part or all of a joint.
Arthrodesis
An arthrodesis refers to fusion of a joint, usually in the case of severe degenerative joint disease, severe deformity, or to provide stability to a joint.
